BUSINESS COMMUNICATION TIP: Listening Tip # 3

One of the best strategies to improve your skills as a listener is to start by listening to yourself. Often we're in such a rush to communicate that we neglect to pay attention to how we come across. Some good places to start are:
Are you longwinded? Do you use jargon? Do you start most sentences with "I"? Do you tend to interrupt? Do you refer to yourself or others negatively?
