BUSINESS COMMUNICATION TIP: Interviewing Skills

An interview is your key opportunity to shine and promote yourself. While most
people find this to be awkward, it is acceptable and expected behavior. Like learning anything new, practice is always beneficial. One way to do this is to identify 3 questions you find challenging to answer and then practice resonding to them in front of a mirror and also tape record yourself. Listen to the playback and evaluate what you did well and what you'd like to change and then repeat the process. While looking in the mirror, check to see how you come across as far as your eye-contact, use of gestures, and facial expressions.
